Hi there, my name is Ryan Shepheard and I'm currently a freelance VFX Artist. I'm always looking to better myself, expand upon my current skill set and strive to be one of the best in my field. I love my work and I'm always giving 110%, trying to find solutions and new techniques to any problems I might encounter.

Here is the latest body of my work, from Warhammer 40K: Storm of Vengeance and Auto Club Revolution to some RnD tests and Fluid simulations. Any questions, feel free to get in touch on the email address in the video.

I was responsible for the creation and management of each individual effect for the game. The effects were designed to run both on mobile and PC platforms and have thus been optimized for performance. When creating the effects for mobile I was restricted to the amount of particles or Alpha draws I could use. This proved challenging to work around at first but I've learnt a lot and improved as an artist in doing so. Here is a small handful of some of the effects I have created whilst working on Warhammer 40K: SoV.
Below is some of my VFX work on Auto Club Revolution. I was brought on to "update" the games current effects. W orking on tire smoke, exhaust blasts, impact sparks, road flares, debris, surface water, etc.
